Ristorexpo photographer in Erba

From live cooking to the finished dish and the tasting: a sequence that tells the story of culinary skills and food at Ristorexpo, at Lariofiere in Erba.

I follow the process from the cook’s gestures to the moment of service and sharing. I create a selection for your press office, social media and company website, alongside photographs of your stand and the people who bring it to life.

From preparation to the visitor experience

Demonstrations and kitchen skills

I photograph the stages of a preparation, hands at work and the steps that make a demonstration clear. The programme and a conversation with the person cooking help identify the moments to cover.

Dishes and products

Alongside the reportage, I photograph the dishes and products presented during the event. We agree on the details to highlight and how they fit into the story of your stand, taking preparation and service times into account.

Tastings and shared moments

I document service, conversations and the encounter between the person presenting and the person tasting. These images give a place to people and complete the story of the food experience.

Examples from food events and projects

In my Oasi Life Experience assignments, I photographed preparation, plating and presentation, moving from close views of the work to shared moments. The GROM project in Piazza Gae Aulenti adds a product served at the counter; the FATA Ristorante assignment documents conversations around the table.

The selection brings these settings together to show the kinds of images I can create during a demonstration, tasting or meeting at your stand.

From the brief to image delivery

Before the shoot, we agree on what to photograph, which moments to cover and how you plan to use the images. We define the coverage, priorities and deadlines around the event programme and your communications needs.

  • Preview images by the same night. You will receive an initial selection of preview images by the night of the shoot, ready for use on social media and with the press.
  • The full edited selection within one week. You will receive the full edited selection within one week of the end of the agreed photography coverage. For assignments spanning several days, this period starts when the agreed coverage ends.
  • Urgent delivery by arrangement. If you have an earlier deadline, we can agree on urgent delivery. The timing, images required and conditions will be set out in the quote.

The number of preview images and images in the full selection, file formats, usage terms and any expenses are agreed in the brief or quote. Briefing and coordination are available in English or Italian.

Questions about photography at Ristorexpo

Can you cover a live cooking demonstration or tasting at a specific time?

We can include it in the coverage schedule. Let me know the time, duration, location and main stages, including when the dish is completed or served. These details help define the photography priorities.

Can you photograph the dishes prepared during the event too?

Yes. We can dedicate part of the coverage to the dishes and products presented. The brief defines the images you need and when to photograph them, around the kitchen schedule and their intended use.

Tell me about your plans for Ristorexpo

Let me know the company, brand or agency, the coverage dates and the stand location if available. Include the demonstration or tasting programme, the dishes and products to highlight and your image deadlines.

We will discuss the programme, coverage and delivery. Sending an enquiry does not confirm a booking.

Frequently asked questions about trade show photography

Can I receive preview photographs for press and social media during the trade show?

You will receive an initial preview selection by the night of the shoot, for prompt use on social media and with the press. We agree on priority images, the number of previews and intended uses in the brief. If you need to publish earlier, we can discuss an urgent delivery.

Can we arrange an urgent delivery during the day?

We can agree on an earlier delivery for a press release, presentation or social media post. This needs to be arranged before the shoot: we review the deadline, the images required and how the coverage will be organised. Delivery times and conditions are set out in the quote.

When will I receive the complete selection of photographs?

You will receive the complete edited selection within one week of the end of the agreed photography coverage. For assignments spanning several days, that period starts on the final day of coverage. Any interim deliveries or earlier deadlines are agreed separately.

Can you cover a trade show over several days?

Coverage can span one or several days, with timings and priorities based on the trade show programme. We can divide the work between stand photographs, meetings, demonstrations and appointments with guests or clients. Preview requirements and any interim deliveries are also agreed in the brief.

Can several photographers cover a complex event?

If the programme includes simultaneous activities, several stands or different venues, we can consider a team of photographers. Team size and availability are determined from the brief. We agree on coverage, priorities and coordination so each photographer knows which moments and subjects to follow.

Can I also request a video with a videographer from the studio?

On request, we can discuss photography and video coverage with a videographer from the studio, depending on the project and availability. The brief defines the content required, such as stand footage, interviews or social media videos. Video formats, editing and delivery times are agreed separately from the photographs.

Which aspects of our stand and trade show participation can you photograph?

Coverage can include stand design, products, details, the team, demonstrations, visitor interactions and activities in your company programme. Before the show, we set priorities according to how the images will be used: documenting the stand, corporate communications, press or social media. Any appointments outside the exhibition venue also need to be included in the agreed programme.

Can you photograph several stands for a stand builder or agency?

We can plan a route between several stands, taking halls, distances, timings and priorities into account. To prepare the shoot, I need a list of stands, their locations and any access restrictions. If activities overlap, we can consider coverage over several days or with several photographers.

Does the stand have to be photographed before the show opens to visitors?

No. Where access is permitted, photographing before opening can help document the stand without visitors. During opening hours, we can show the stand in use. The choice depends on the images you need, the time available and the trade show’s access arrangements.

How many photographs will I receive, and how can I use them?

The number of previews and final images is agreed in the brief or quote, together with formats and usage terms. Let me know whether the photographs are for a website, social media, press, advertising campaigns or communications by partners and clients: this helps define the delivery and intended uses.

Can you coordinate with an international team?

Briefing and coordination are available in English or Italian. Before the show, we can agree on an operational contact, priority shots and communication deadlines so the coverage fits the work of your company team, agency or press office.

What information do you need for a trade show photography quote?

Please include the trade show, dates, venue, number and location of stands, and the length of coverage required. Add the moments to cover, intended image uses and delivery deadlines. Mention any simultaneous activities, video requirements or need for several photographers so the proposal can reflect your programme.
