The plating in the restaurant, the steam caught mid-air, the delicate gesture. I build every shot with precision (light, composition, timing) until the dish tells its own story. No forcing: just the food, at its best.

Cardinali Studio is a food and still-life photography studio based in Milan, working across Northern Italy. We shoot photos and video and build websites for restaurants, hotels, chefs and food brands: one point of contact, from the shoot to going live online.

The studio is based in Milan and works throughout Northern Italy: Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna in particular. For bigger projects I'm happy to travel further afield.
Every shoot covers the briefing and a location check, light styling of each dish, shooting with professional lighting, and post-production. You get the photos optimised for both print (menus, brochures) and web and social, in light, ready-to-use files.
