I photograph corporate events, conventions, conferences, trade fairs, openings, product launches, institutional events, concerts and dinners. I’m Emanuele Cardinali, an event photographer based in Milan, working with companies, brands, communications agencies, organisers and restaurants to document people, spaces and the key moments of each event.

Coverage is planned around your schedule and communication goals. The reportage combines venue and installation photographs, stage moments, audience reactions, conversations, candid portraits and brand details. The final selection creates a coherent story you can use to document the event and communicate it across different channels.

My approach is documentary: I follow what happens without interrupting the event to ask for a pose, capturing natural interactions and expressions. If you also need group photographs or planned portraits, we schedule them so they fit alongside the candid story of the day.

Yes. For corporate dinners and food events, I photograph guests alongside dishes, preparation, service and the evening’s atmosphere. For design events and openings, the story includes the venue, installations and audience interaction, connecting the brand’s identity with the participants’ experience.

Yes, I also photograph evening events, performances and concerts. Lighting conditions and any restrictions on photography are part of the brief: tell me how the venue will be lit and which moments matter. I plan coverage around the atmosphere and the event’s requirements.

The photography price depends on duration, schedule, venue, required coverage and delivery needs. I prepare a tailored quote because a conference, an exhibition day and a corporate evening involve different timings and planning. Send me the date, location, hours and event type for a proposal.

Send the date, city, venue, timings and event type, along with the schedule, approximate attendance, priority moments and intended uses for the photographs. For an exhibition, include the show name, hall and stand number. Mention any press, social media or internal communication deadlines at the outset.

Contact me as soon as you have a date and time window, even if the schedule is still being finalised. Planning early is particularly useful for Salone del Mobile, Design Week and major trade fairs. Availability is checked for your enquiry; sending a message does not by itself confirm a booking.

We start with the schedule and identify what needs to appear in the reportage: setup, arrivals, speeches, networking, dinner or performances. This determines the coverage window. If your event has simultaneous activities or multiple venues, we review them before confirming the service and agree priorities.

Let me know as soon as the schedule changes so we can review priorities, timings and travel between venues. Extensions to coverage need to be agreed according to availability and the planned service. An operational contact helps coordinate these updates during the event.

Share the schedule for each room and identify the priority sessions. We review what can be covered within the same service and which requirements need a different plan. Coverage should be defined around the event’s actual timings before the service is confirmed.

Yes. A requested shot list helps identify speakers, guests, sponsors, products, installations and meetings that matter. I use it alongside the schedule while leaving room for spontaneous moments. I can handle the brief in English and coordinate with your company or agency contact.

Yes. I provide photography for exhibitors and events at Fiera Milano Rho, including stands, teams, visitors, products, presentations and B2B meetings. Coverage can focus on the stand design or also document activity during the exhibition, depending on the images your company needs.

Stand photography highlights the space, materials, furniture, products and visual identity. Exhibition reportage adds the team, visitors, demonstrations and meetings, showing the stand in use. We can combine both approaches to provide photographs of the installation and a story of your company’s participation.

Empty-stand photography needs a time window compatible with setup, cleaning and exhibition access. Before the shoot, we check permitted hours and entry arrangements with your contact. A dedicated session allows the space to be photographed before coverage moves on to the team and visitors.

Yes. I photograph events, exhibition stands and brand initiatives at Fiera Milano Rho and Fuorisalone venues. The reportage can connect your exhibition presence with showrooms, openings and city events. Before the service, we coordinate entry arrangements, necessary passes, access hours and any restricted areas with your event contact. Share the hall, stand and operational contact so coverage can be prepared. Early access must be checked with the organiser rather than assumed from the photography booking.

I deliver the full photographic selection within a maximum of ten days after the event. For urgent communication needs, I deliver a small selection by the same evening. Urgent delivery of the complete selection can also be agreed: include your deadlines in the enquiry so they can be planned into the service.

Yes. A small selection is provided by the evening of the event for urgent communication needs. In the brief, we identify priority moments and subjects, the deadline and the contact receiving the images. The full selection follows within ten days, or under an agreed urgent delivery schedule.

There is no preset limit on the number of photographs delivered. The selection depends on the event’s duration, schedule and range of activity, with the aim of providing a complete, useful story rather than reaching a shot quota. Unlimited means no cap on the final selection, not automatic delivery of every exposure taken.

Yes. You receive a selection that tells the event’s story, avoiding repetition and unhelpful shots. I combine wider scenes, people, key moments and details to keep the photographs coherent. If you have specific format or usage requirements, include the specifications in your brief.

Videomakers can be involved alongside the photography service. If you need video, interviews or social content, include your goals and formats in the enquiry. We plan coordinated coverage and a quote that distinguishes photography from video production, with agreed timings and deliverables.

Image uses are included, covering your company website, social media, LinkedIn, press office, newsletters, presentations and internal communications. An additional fee applies only to use in printed campaigns. If you are planning such a campaign, mention it in the brief so it can be included in the quote.

The reportage is planned with event communication in mind. Wider photographs, speakers, guests, sponsors and brand details can serve different audiences. The brief identifies who needs to appear and which images are required for press releases, reports, presentations and social content, allowing coverage to follow your priorities.

Yes. Include restricted areas, confidential moments and people who should be excluded from photographs in the brief. We share these instructions with the operational contact before the event. Publication restrictions and confidentiality requirements should be clarified alongside the intended image uses.

Yes. I work in Milan and Lombardy and travel throughout Italy. Include the city, venue, dates and timings in your enquiry so we can plan coverage and account for travel in the quote. For multi-day events, share the full schedule to plan consistent coverage.

Yes, I handle briefs in English. Overseas exhibitors, international agencies and event organisers can send their schedule, shot list, brand references and communication deadlines. We agree coverage in Milan and the operational contact at the venue, with clear instructions before the event.
