A publishing model
Book → formats → production cycles → tasks: a structure separating a title from the work needed to publish it.

A workspace connecting tasks, books and people.

A small publishing house in Rome needed to bring processes, assignments and deadlines together. The core problem was knowing where each book stands, who owns each step and what is preventing progress.
I handled project management, design and development, structuring the workflow around books, formats, production cycles and tasks. Print and ebook formats can share tasks; reprints and new cycles retain their history. Overview, personal tasks, team tasks and calendar offer different views of the same work.
The public demo makes the catalogue, book records and assignments explorable with sample data. It documents the interface and workflows built. The product presentation also covers smartphone use, Microsoft document links and AI assistant proposals that require approval.

A bookmark identifies the product. DM Sans, a paper background and lime accent form the foundation. Categories, statuses and priorities have distinct visual roles, supported by text labels and symbols as well as colour.

Task status
System specimen: colour is accompanied by words and symbols.
Purple identifies editorial work, not completion. To do, In progress, Waiting and Complete are expressed through dedicated labels.
These represent different facts: importance, a missed deadline and an obstacle to resolve. They are not collapsed into a single colour.
Task and book records retain recognisable names, owners and statuses across lists, boards, calendars and phone views.
